MASS Multi-Skilled Property Maintenace Technician

Location: Bristol, Bath and the wider Southwest

Employment type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: Negotiable, depending on skills and experience (Range £26K – £34K depending on Skill Set and experience)

MASS Group Property Maintenance is an established property maintenance business operating across Bristol, Bath and the wider Southwest. We provide Property Maintenance, remedial repairs and customer care services for leading housebuilders and property clients.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and customer-focused Multi-Skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

Ideally, you will have at least three years' experience in a recognised trade, together with the ability and confidence to undertake a variety of additional property maintenance and remedial repair works.

The role and responsibilities

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Carrying out remedial repairs and maintenance within new-build residential properties.
• Undertaking a variety of repair, finishing and snagging works to a high standard.
• Inspecting, identifying and diagnosing defects before carrying out appropriate repairs.
• Completing minor and more extensive maintenance tasks across a range of trades.
• Working independently at customers' properties and collaboratively with colleagues when required.
• Communicating professionally with customers and providing excellent customer service.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Representing MASS Group professionally at all times.

Skills and experience

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Painting and decorating
• Patching and making good
• Drylining and plasterboard repairs
• Second-fix carpentry
• Tiling and grouting
• Silicone application and renewal
• General snagging and remedial works

You should be practical, well organised and able to work on your own initiative. A flexible approach, good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential.

Previous experience in new-build housing, property maintenance or customer care repairs would be advantageous.

What we're looking for

• At least three years' experience in a relevant trade is preferred.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A professional attitude and pride in the quality of your work.
• A valid CSCS card is preferred.
